Turning your Whine into Water.

God Bless your life. Good Morning. Good Evening. Sonya woke up early and we went walking before the sun got too hot outside so now she is asleep next to a jam filled muffin and a cup of orange juice she is probably going to be sure to redecorate the tan carpet with, unless I change their proximity from each other. One Sec.....
I wanted to do these everyday but then I realised that I’d better just do them when my diligence and my creativity were coexisting harmoniously. I’d just wind up wasting time I could use to do something else otherwise. Apparently conditions for posting will not be daily ideal, thus it won’t be daily ordeal. Well, I decided to recognise and move on. We as a kind complain too much. I think the world would be way less broken if we didn’t. I know there’s other factors involved but I don’t even want to imagine how much time we wasting using our mouth to address a situation better designated to our hands and minds.
Don’t think for one second that I don’t recognise the utter irony and humour of the situation. By addressing the issue of how much we, including me, all complain too much, I am using this whole blog post to be a complaint in itself. Well, this is life, sometimes it seems shooting yourself is the only way to stop a cancer short of just letting it kill you slowly. I don’t write these to say I’m better than anyone, I try to learn from these just as much as I hope anyone who reads the post is doing.
Complaining will not solve anything. The older I get the more of a fan I become of what is most effective. Yet the older I have gotten the more I started to complain, and it’s no longer enough to tell the back of my mind that its cool, everyone does it. This nonsense is just not effective, and it’s the worst form of gossip, if there’s any good kind.
If you see a situation that needs fixing, don’t point it out aimlessly. Fix it. If you can not, point it out to someone who can instead of everyone who will listen. You don’t get cool points for noticing without helping. And if you want to be helpful, go find something YOU can fix. There is always something you can fix. And do us all a favour, once you have fixed that, pat yourself on the back real quick and find something else YOU can fix. Please don’t try to fix something you know you can not just because it would get more credit, you might as well start complaining now.
So yeah, that’s it for the day. Jesus loves us, let’s give him a little more reason and ourselves a little more credit. I got to go, I have a show tonight to prepare for, it will be live on ustream and guerillacross.com starting 8pm Vegas time, and I go first. That and Sonya just moved in her sleep again, so I have to go and move the orange juice and muffin, again.
It’s that or watch her inevitably knock the stuff over and have something else to complain about that I could have so easily fixed.
